Founded by Angela and John in 2014 AJ Fairs specialise in Antiques and Collectables in Essex, also covering a wide range of goodies such as retro, vintage, quirky and bygone items of yesteryear.

Having attended various fairs for over 25 years we choose our venues for being both customer friendly and seller friendly, i.e. easily accessible with few steps, if any, to allow for trolleys and disabled access.

We like to have free parking adjoining our venues. For refreshments we have our own caterer, who, when facilities allow, makes bacon or sausage butties, fresh sandwiches and lovely homemade cakes at very fair prices. Our entry charges vary per venue, but are very reasonable at either £1 or £1.50 per person.

For anyone wishing to have their own table (whether as a  regular seller or as a one-off clear out of the family collectables) our prices start from £28 (6ft table) and vary per venue.  (Please see ‘Selling’ page.)

We are proud to have received lots of positive comments that our fairs have a really nice atmosphere, pleasant background music and relaxed sellers with fair prices on the items for sale.  So we like to call ourselves 'the fair Fairs'.

We advertise in the ‘Black and White’ Antique Trade Calendar, on the Antiques Atlas website, various Essex websites, local media and can often be heard chatting on BBC Essex Radio to promote the next fair.
